Many of us are not routinely aware just how much sensorial information our brain inhibits, moment by moment. I am fascinated by how bringing back into the visual field the suppressed images plays out on the canvas.

The human eye "sees" everything, but what we are aware of seeing, is a selection that our brain is making. The focus of our attention is different whether or not we are in pain, or relaxed, or hungry, or hear a loud noise... The viewer, therefore, is always shaping the view, in more than one way.
